 Mr. Schneemann has held several management positions with major worldwide corporations:

Leybold-Heraeus, Texas  Instruments, Tandem Computers, Knuerr AG, Schott Glaswerke/Electronics, Bulthaup and as an Independent with a partnership in a German consulting company in Munich, Germany. Since 15 years, he runs his own SAP consulting firm CIE in Greenville, SC USA.

With over 20 years in hi-tech engineering, business systems and information technology, Mr. Schneemann’s career started in the late 70’s with production planning and product costing in hi-tech manufacturing.

Through the 80’s, he was Logistics manager of the European manufacturing startup of U.S. Tandem Computers in Munich, then plant manager with Knuerr AG, a supplier for the electronics industry.

Later he was the head of Industrial Engineering for Schott AG, a global supplier for electronic components and hi-tech glass. He was one of the decision makers for implementing SAP in that 3B$company and became SAP’s customer No. 9 ! At the same time, he took over their SAP project with the functions Technical Clearification, MRP-I, Production Planning, MRP-II, Production Execution, QI and Product Costing as a project manager.

Into the 90’s, Mr. Schneemann went independent and implemented SAP’s totally integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) R2 and R3. He came with SAP into the United States in 1993 to be part of the implementation team at BMW in SC, NJ and CA. He was a pacemaker for SAP’s success to gain marketshare in the U.S. market back then. He founded his own US SAP consulting firm CIE in Greenville in 1994.

During the past 15 years, Mr. Schneemann has been heavily involved in the implementations of the SAP R/3 software solution for big global US companies in all major industries, but Automotive, Hi-Tech, Chemical and Medical specifically.

His specific expertise is on all technical modules of ERP systems: production, quality and maintenance as well as  logistics, MRP, purchasing and inventory control. He is also knowledgeable in sales order processing and product costing. His integrated SAP knowledge spans over the management of the entire Product Lifecycle and Supply-chain, which he organized for big global players like Goodyear in Akron, OH; Symbol Technologies on Long Island, NY and Mercedes-Benz U.S. International at their car manufacturing plant in Alabama.
